Review of Browney Place: A Family-Friendly RetreatDuring our recent family vacation in Durham, we opted for Browney Place, and I'm pleased to share our experience. The property is conveniently situated close to popular attractions, including the National Railway Museum and Hall Hill Farm, which made outings with the kids easy and enjoyable. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an unexpected room upgrade that featured an ensuite bathroom—an upgrade we greatly appreciated as a family. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals together—a delightful activity that made our stay feel more like home. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the games room, particularly the billiards and table football, which provided hours of entertainment. One of the highlights for us was the comfortable living spaces that allowed for family bonding. Each evening was spent around the inviting table, sharing stories and planning our adventures. With dedicated parking on-site and a quiet village setting, we felt relaxed throughout our stay. Browney Place offered us a delightful base for exploring Durham and its surroundings. I highly recommend it to families looking for a welcoming atmosphere that embraces both comfort and activity.
